Job Description | The Department of Biology in the School of Science & Technology at CBU invites applications for a full-time continuing position in Biology at the rank of Lab Instructor. This position will commence July 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The successful candidate will perform the duties outlined in Article 25.1.2 in the CBU Faculty Association Collective Agreement. Topics of focus shall include, but may not be limited to, second year Human Anatomy labs, second year Human Physiology labs for Nurses, third year Human Physiology labs, and upper level labs that focus on anatomy, physiology, histology, infectious disease, and other health related areas. Some specific duties to the role are but not limited to:

Applicants are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment with regard to teaching activities and service to Cape Breton University, community and profession. |
Required Qualifications | Candidates shall, as a minimum requirement, possess a B.Sc. in Biology. |
Preferred Qualifications | An M.Sc. in Biology is preferred. Previous lab instructor or teaching experience at the post secondary level considered an asset but not mandatory. |
