Job Description |
This role is Subject to Budget Approval. The Department of Nursing in the School of Nursing at Cape Breton University invites applications for two full-time continuing position at the rank of Nursing Practice Educator. This position will commence June 1, 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The successful candidate will become a member of a progressive, energetic school. The Nursing Practice Educator (NPE) is a valued position within the Department of Nursing. NPEs work closely with nursing students taking a leading role in nursing practice education, supervision, and evaluation of nursing students in acute care, long term care and/or community agencies, as well as on-campus nursing laboratory instruction and evaluation. The union affiliation of this position is with the Cape Breton University Faculty Association. |
Required Qualifications | Successful candidates will have:
If there are no applicants possessing a master’s degree in nursing or a health-related discipline, those currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program will be considered.
